Our History
Yves Montinard was born and raised in Petion-Ville, Haiti. He went to college and studied first Sociology, then Accounting, then Civil Law and finally went to Grand Seminaire de Bourdon (Church of God Seminary). He assisted his father in the pastorate of Evangelical Church of Jesus Christ. He also began the Ecole Mixte L’Union (Boys and Girls K – 12). After he married Marie Noel in 1999, they lived in New York for a year. In 2000 when their twin boys Yves-Joel and Joshua were two months old, they relocated to New Bedford, Massachusetts. In 2005 they began a small fellowship which eventually became the Evangelical Church of Jesus Christ (ECJC).
As a devout Christian since early childhood, Mrs. Montinard continues to play a vital role in her husband’s ministry, as well as the operation of the church. She is also responsible for both the Children’s Ministry and the Women’s Ministry.
As First Lady of ECJC, Mrs. Montinard welcomes all members to ECJC. First Lady wants you to know that ECJC is a loving church where you receive an anointed Word from the Man of God. She reaches out to all in support of the vision that God has given to Pastor Montinard.
